Given our attachment to the University of Saskatchewan, SELU recommends our partners consider the most current information from the University with respect to all campus activities during the COVID-19 special measures.
Like our friends and partners in education and human services, SELU continues to monitor the daily progress of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our thoughts are with the frontline healthcare providers and members of leadership teams supporting the colossal efforts to provide both quality care for individuals suffering and the clarity needed in a time of uncertainty for all of us. We know that your families and homes, and colleagues and workplaces have been disrupted. We understand these challenges; we have been disrupted in similar ways.
As the weeks and months ahead challenge you to build new strengths and rely on existing resilience, know that the Saskatchewan Educational Leadership Unit remains open and willing to support you through times of change. With 35 years of network- and capacity-building experience, SELU is committed to you and to your work. The continued health and safety of your organization’s employees is our highest priority; the continued success of your work is central to our mission.
We recognize the efforts you and your leadership teams are making during this difficult time. Please know that SELU is here to support your work as external forces require changes in how that work is done. Rest assured that we will continue to complete the work you have entrusted with us and which has already begun. Please call on us, at any time. It would be our pleasure to problem-solve with you.
The events and services SELU has offered in the past will continue, only in different ways until the pandemic subsides. We are looking forward to supporting your work through remote technologies into the summer months. We are working on remote options for our services and projects. Thank you for your patience as we quickly retool—we will update sections of our webpage as changes come on-line.
Though our physical office in the College of Education at the University of Saskatchewan is closed until further notice in response to University directives, we continue to be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your trust in the past, and we look forward to speaking with you soon.
Dr Vicki Squires,
Ms Patricia Prowse,
SELU Associate Director
